This role is to work with the advisory team within Jones Lang LaSalle’s Hotels & Hospitality Group and offers the chance to work with a market leading team.
Requirements
Hotel or trading related property experience with knowledge of hotel accounting and operational issues
MRICS qualified (and VRS registered) with strong experience in hotel valuation.
Strong financial analysis and modelling skills essential.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook essential.
Good knowledge of the UK generally and the Hotel market specifically.
Must have a strong verbal and numerical skills and be proficient with report writing (in English)
Must be customer-service driven with excellent communication skills.
The ability to work to meet tight deadlines.
Ability to work under tight time constraints in order to deliver high quality service.
Ability to develop and manage client relationships.
Ability to value a wide range of commercial assets across all UK sectors.
Must be enthusiastic and self-motivated with excellent client skills.
Must be flexible and a team player.
Must be able to supervise and delegate to junior members of staff.
Prepared to travel and, where required, to stay overnight to complete assignments.
Experience in advising in markets outside the UK (not essential).
Knowledge of a second language (not essential).
Responsibilities
Work within the London Hotels & Hospitality advisory team to perform a wide variety of consulting and valuation assignments including, but not limited to, the following:
Prepare RICS Appraisal Standards compliant valuation reports on single assets and portfolios, and supervise others within the team in the preparation of such reports.
Work with mutli-discplinary teams within the Hotels & Hospitality group and also across the wider JLL business in providing advice to clients.
Respond to RFPs and prepare pitches in respect of new advisory assignments, and assist where required in the preparation of pitches for new capital markets assignments.
Where required, work with the capital markets teams in the preparation of opinions of value and pricing exercises.
Provide excellent client service through the swift delivery of accurate work. Work with the team to ensure a high level of repeat business, as well as support the team’s efforts to generate new business. This may include taking responsibility for specific target or existing clients.
Assist in achieving the team’s annual budget through the correct mix of advisory work, as well as exercising sensible control of costs.
Ensure the growth of the business by attending industry events and making presentations.
