Job Description:
This role is to drive business development for new service offerings leveraging Ericsson’s leading market position and expanding Managed Services portfolio. Partnering with customer facing account teams the Engagement Manager will develop market awareness of new service offerings, identify specific opportunities based on customer need and lead sales engagements to win new business. This will include managed service propositions for fixed and mobile infrastructures and innovative offerings for customer experience services.

Working up to C-level with customers, the engagement manager will qualify opportunities, establish the sales approach and lead the development of winning propositions, working through to contract negotiation and closure. The Engagement Manager will build and manage virtual teams across business line, operations and delivery functions combining Ericsson's Managed Services portfolio with services from partner companies.

Responsibilities & Tasks
Work with account teams and marketing to raise internal and market awareness of the new services introduced into the Managed Services portfolio by the Managed Services business line
Analyse the market to identify potential opportunities
Working with account teams, engage with customers to understand the their business challenges, requirements and issues
Lead targeted sales campaigns to create engagements, develop winning propositions and ‘close the deal’
Drive a high performance culture by exhibiting a proactive attitude, high energy, dynamic team working, high standards and leading by example

Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements
Varied experience (3 years +) within functions relevant to Services sales; Sales, Operations and Delivery, Commercial Management, Engineering
Proven sales success evidenced by developing propositions and securing orders
Varied experience (3 years +) in a technical/operational role delivering service to customers
Experience (2 years +) in a team leadership position



Additional Requirments, Physical Demands, Region/Local Specifications
Regional role to be based in Western Europe, with flexibility regarding location. Business travel will be required around Central & Western Europe on a regular basis up to 50% of the time (mostly weekdays)
