Our London office is looking for a Director to lead the Risk and Value Management Advisory Team.
Job Responsibilities Will Include
•Leadership and Management of the Risk and Value Management Advisory business throughout the UK and Ireland.
•Providing R&VM services to a range of public and private sector clients to support construction, infrastructure and engineering programs and projects
•Supporting the ongoing development of R&VM services across the EMIA region
•Accountability for the financial management of services provided to ensure profitability
•Accountability for maintaining and growing the team size in line with secured workload, opportunities and forecasting such that the business maintains excellent financial performance.
•Leading on the development of new clients through all available channels.
•Ensuring the application of best practices and reporting tools are in place and consistently applied.
•Quality assuring the work of others
•Leading proposals and other business development activities
•Undertaking project sponsor, direct service provision alongside leadership duties to retain delivery expertise and contribute to the overall business financial performance.
•Building capabilities in line with plans to deliver commitments
•Developing new service offerings and continually innovating.
•Supporting the business development activities through liaison with AECOM sector teams
Preferred Qualifications
A Senior Risk and Value Management professional with relevant degree and qualification
Minimum Requirements
Is a solutions leader, able to devise solutions and lead teams to deliver outcomes
•A solid track record of having performed risk and value management on major programs and projects
•Sound understanding of the construction/consultancy sector
•Industry leading knowledge of Risk and Value Management processes to guide our clients as to what is appropriate for their unique cases.
•Fully Conversant with Risk and Value Management standards, policy and procedure
•A highly motivated, organised articulate and confident individual with excellent communication skills.
•Identifies opportunities to share knowledge and best practice.
•Experience of qualitative and quantitative risk and value management processes.
•Experience of key risk managements tools/software including both @Risk and Pertmaster
•Excellent Excel skills
•Experience of workshop facilitation
•Strong record of achievement as an influencer and persuader
•Articulate and confident, with strong communication skills
•Relaxed, professional, fun, engaging, charismatic
•Track record in business development
