Job Description:
We’re looking for an experienced business developer to play a vital role in the progression of our retail shopper experience. Focusing on consumer insights, you'll use your vast retail expertise to drive growth across direct shopping channels – Online, Brand retail & LEGO certified stores.
Your specific tasks include:

- Lead and coordinate local and cross functional projects, including the SMCD Business Plan – playing a key strategic advisory role, driving the LT’s agenda and creating a sense of simplicity in design.
- Act as a chief of staff for the SMCD Business – playing a lynch pin role in leading the function and principally supporting the SVP.
- Acting as a challenger, ensuring that at every step of the way the highest standards reached and maintained.
- Integrating all parties to work in a collaborative and cohesive way.
- End to end ownership of key deliverables – from initial research and design through to decision and implementation.
- Acting as a key sparring partner to the SVP, key players across the SBU and wider business.

Do you have what it takes?

- A proven track record within a strategic management consultancy.
- A passion and commitment for consumer retail development, with demonstrable experience of leading and driving continual development.
- A desire to continually challenge the way things are done – ‘Only the best is good enough’ attitude.
- Experience of working with Branded companies, specifically within FMCG sector, would be a bonus.
- Exceptional communication skills – able to build relationships quickly and effectively and leave a lasting impression on those you engage with.
- An impactful presence, driven attitude and creative flair.
