This is a senior position in the iShares EMEA Product team. The successful candidate will lead the range management function responsible the post-launch product management of all EMEA domiciled ETFs.

Manage a team responsible for the product management of all EMEA ETFs. The manager will lead the general and commercialisation activities within range management, and will oversee the quality management function
Commercialisation:
Research competitor and industry innovations along with observations of client buying behavior to help inform iShares product strategy
Work with iShares Strategy team to develop and evolve iShares TER setting policy for all new and existing products, taking into account the existing range pricing and prevailing competitive environment across all index funds
Collaborate with stakeholders such as Sales, Strategy, Marketing and Investment Strategy & Insights to identify opportunities to improve the commercial effectiveness of the range
Seek opportunities to promote funds post launch to progress them to institutional scale
Monitor the existing iShares EMEA product range across commercial dimensions such as flows, AUM, pricing, competitors, client demand and sales feedback. Develop new tools to improve the monitoring process through systematic means
Ensure the product range remains relevant to our clients and commercially viable. Lead any rationalisation decision-making such as fund mergers, closures and index changes
Develop ways to assist clients and sales teams in navigating the iShares EMEA range. Examples include development of range packaging & navigation tools, coordinating sales training and developing collateral to improve range awareness & positioning
Quality management:
Provide oversight of the quality management function, monitoring each fund in terms of benchmark tracking, trading spreads and ability to accommodate large flows
Oversee the identification of initiatives designed to improve the quality of the funds, improve operational robustness, reduce risks, change pricing, enhance the platform or to react to regulatory changes.
General range management:
Develop deep expertise across the entire iShares EMEA product range. Be able to answer product questions from clients, intermediaries and sales teams among others
Continually expand and deepen iShares Product technical and investment knowledge base. Stay abreast of current market environment and the latest relevant investment research and apply where relevant
Ensure appropriate transfer of product information to other departments within Product and the iShares business
Be a product champion, representing iShares product internally and externally, where appropriate.

Knowledge/Experience:
Experience in a product management or a related role advantageous. Demonstrable product expertise, preferably with ETFs or other UCITS investment products
Awareness of European regulations relating to the European financial services industry and in particular the UCITS regulatory framework
Experience and understanding of multiple asset classes, including equity, fixed income and commodities
Firm understanding of the sales process and client considerations in evaluating investment products
High level of self-motivation and leadership skills
Demonstrated experience working across virtual teams and ability to influence and champion initiatives
Exceptional and demonstrable communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment
Resourceful, proactive and able to operate effectively in a highly demanding team environment
Good understanding of the investment process and of a variety of cash and synthetic instruments
Attention to detail, and ability to pick up & digest new information quickly
Strong understanding of the asset management industry and the regulatory environment associated with it
A broad understanding of tax, portfolio management, regulatory and operational requirements

Skills/Qualifications:
University degree calibre candidate
Knowledge of a further European language is an advantage
IMC, CFA or MBA a plus
