Assists with the development of eCommerce/ ATM related marketing programs, initiatives and research analysis. Has a supporting role in large, more complex analysis projects and a leading role in smaller, less complex analysis projects.


Job Description

The Smartphone Application Analyst aids the delivery of enhancements and content updates to the Smartphone app and engages in the development of new functionality as required by the business. The role reports to the Digital Snr Operations Consultant based in Chester and will sit within the Digital & Voice Communications team. For specific development projects, the role will have a dotted line into the associated project manager. The key focus of the role will be the translation of designs and content into fully developed, functional solutions through efficient, high quality coding.


Responsibilities

• Responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining the Smartphone Application.

• Identification and trouble shooting of problems and production impediments and supports defect resolution.

• Document all processes and procedures and ensures that the control lead is included on any process changes.

• Responsible for assisting the business and the Digital department in achieving business goals relating to the Smartphone app channel.

• Manage the vendor relationship with a high risk vendor.

• Support the LOB AIT owner for mobile technology related entries.
Desired Skills and Experience

Requirements

• Proven experience of working in a digital / technology based environment.

• Experience of working in the Financial sector preferred but not mandatory.

• Experience of developing Smartphone applications (Andriod or OS (Apple)).

• Experience of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) with good working knowledge of development and test models.

• Results orientated environment.

• Strong coding and problem solving skills with the ability to think laterally.

• Knowledge of mobile application development standards both internally and externally
